Rooibos with caramel tones of a natural vanilla flavouring.
Afrikaans for 'red bush', rooibos seems to be a misnomer for the gorse-yellow brush that ornaments the Western Cape's scrubby heathland. But after treatment its leaves turn auburn and this colours the sweet and full-bodied infusion known for its versatility and bedtime suitability.
